What is Periodontal Cleaning?

A periodontal cleaning is a procedure that will thoroughly clean your teeth during your visit. Several stages are involved when you get your teeth cleaned. We start with cleaning above the gum line and proceed to the bottom of the gum line. We will then smooth the tooth root to eliminate any remaining bacteria. Finally, we will take X-rays to see if there is any damage to the bones and gums.
