Susan M McKinley, DDS, FAGD

Dr McKinley received her dental degree from the University of Detroit, School of Dentistry in 1990. Desiring to move south, she relocated to North Carolina and bought her practice in Gastonia in 1992. Dr McKinley is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry and The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. McKinley believes strongly in keeping abreast of the latest technologies and is a proud member of the Seattle Study Club and the Spear Study Club. She has been serving Gaston County community since 1991. Dr McKinley is married to Dr. Paul Alexander, a dentist practicing in Charlotte. They have one daughter. Dr McKinley enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with her family.

Brittany Jacobs - Office Manager

As the Office Manager, Brittany oversees the office operations and is committed to making our patients and their families experience a positive one! Brittany is from Gastonia, North Carolina and has been in the dental field for ten years. She has been married for twelve years and has two children, Rylee and Logan. Brittany loves sports, going out to eat, working out, and spending time with her family
Diane Zawacki - Registered Dental Hygienist

Diane Zawacki lives in Denver, North Carolina with her husband, youngest of three daughters, and five dogs. She is originally from Michigan and attended the University of Detroit Dental School with Dr. McKinley in 1991. Diane loves North Carolina and reuniting with Dr. McKinley here is a true pleasure. Her special training and continuing education in periodontal disease and all aspects of dentistry, allows her to share her passion for dental education with patients. Diane makes it a point to be most gentle in treatment delivery all the while sharing a laugh or tow making patients feel at ease.
Michelle Lanier - Certified Dental Assistant

Michelle Lanier grew up in Durham, North Carolina and started working in the dental field right after high school. She completed her radiography training at Wake Forest AHEC. Michelle moved to Gastonia in 1989 and completed her Dental Assistant II Certification at Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Michelle enjoys and cares for her patients and is happy to answer any questions. Outside the office she loves spending time shopping with her daughter, antiquing with her husband, and walking her dog, Smoothie.
